The apartment is situated in the old palazzo which used to house
a Jesuit Latin School, in the part of the Old City called Carmen, abundant in
evidence of an ancient tradition that goes back to Roman times. It is one of the
very few apartments within the walls of Dubrovnik that has a broad view of the
picturesque Old City – windows face the «piazzetta» and the Cathedral which is
said to have been built by the donation of Richard the Lionheart. With its
original atmosphere, the apartment combines contemporary comforts with a warm
and cosy feel of the past. Although newly decorated and refurbished, the
authentic architecture and atmosphere of the apartment have been carefully
preserved by a charming combination of modern and antique furniture. The size of
the apartment is 70m2 and the ceilings are almost 5m high. The walls are solid
stone with windows up to 2m, admitting a lot of light into the apartment, which,
naturally, can be dimmed by closing the traditional Mediterranean window
shutters. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped, consisting of an
entrance, a spacious kitchen connected with the living room, a bedroom and a
bathroom. It is air conditioned and can be heated, too. The apartment is in the walking distance to famous Dubrovnik
pebble beach Banje, several minutes walk to the Old Harbour where tourist boats
are waiting to take you to Lokrum and few steps to Stradun, the main street of
the old city. We provide the service of meeting our guests upon arrival and if required can
organize a taxi service. The apartment can be rented throughout the year, with
special prices for low
season periods.
